Video Production Process

The term video production is a pretty broad stroke phrase used to describe the process of creating a video. There can be many steps involved in producing a piece of content from scripting, storyboarding, editing and animation to colour grading, sound mixing and the process of actually shooting the footage. However often times not all of these steps come into effect. The process of creating a video is different from project to project. Some clients may only require shooting and editing, others may require a fully animated video, and the steps and techniques will change based upon the desired final result. Below is a simple 4 step process that pretty much all videos will go through irregardless of whether its a live event being covered, a corporate video or a motion graphics animation.

Meeting

We will meet with you for an informal chat to discuss your ideas and goals for your video. Together we can come up with the best plan of action and begin the video production

Shooting

After the meeting we will proceed with the video production. Here we will capture all the footage and audio we need to work with. The next stage is bringing it all together

Editing & Post

Here is where the magic happens. We will edit together the footage we shot and mix it with professionally composed music. Finally we colour grade the footage to make it pop

Delivery & Upload

Once the edit has been approved we will upload the final version to our server. You can then download your shiny new video and embed it on your site or on social media for all to see
