FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about working with VideoBase — from costs and timelines to the corporate video production process.
How much does corporate video production cost in Ireland?
Corporate video costs in Ireland vary depending on the scope of the project — the length, number of filming days, locations, post-production requirements, and any additional elements like animation or voiceover. A straightforward interview or talking-head video will cost significantly less than a multi-day conference shoot or a full brand film. Rather than quoting ballpark figures that may not be relevant to your project, we prefer to have a brief conversation first — that way we can give you an accurate quote based on what you actually need. If you have a budget range in mind, sharing it upfront helps us propose the most appropriate approach.
How long does it take to produce a corporate video?
Timelines vary by project type, but as a general guide: a straightforward interview or internal communications video can typically be turned around within two to three weeks from brief to delivery. More involved projects — a company profile film, a multi-day conference shoot, or a full promotional campaign — usually require four to six weeks or more, depending on pre-production requirements and the complexity of post-production. If you have a fixed deadline, tell us at the outset. We plan around your schedule and we'll be upfront if a timeline isn't achievable.
What types of corporate video does Videobase produce?
We produce corporate video, internal communications video, promotional video, webinar recordings, and event videography. This covers a wide range of formats — from company profiles and executive interviews to product launch films, training content, conference recordings, and social media content. If you're not sure which format is right for your goals, that's exactly the kind of conversation we have at the brief stage.
What is the video production process — what should I expect?
Every project follows the same structured approach. We start with a discovery conversation to understand your goals, audience, and brief. From there, we move into pre-production — scripting, planning, location scouting, scheduling, and crew confirmation. The filming day (or days) come next, followed by post-production: editing, colour grading, audio mixing, and any graphics or captions. We share a first cut for your review, incorporate feedback, and deliver the final video in your required formats. You'll have a single point of contact throughout — no handoffs, no dropped balls.
Do you film outside of Dublin?
Yes. We're based in Kill, Co. Kildare — on the doorstep of Dublin — but we work with clients across Ireland. We've filmed in Cork, Galway, Limerick, and many locations in between. Travel requirements are factored into quotes for projects outside of Leinster. For international shoots, we can discuss options depending on the scope of the project.
How do I brief a video production company?
A good brief doesn't have to be long — it has to be clear. The most important things to include are: what the video needs to achieve, who it's for, where it will be published, your key messages, and any practical parameters (budget range, timeline, brand guidelines). If you're not sure where to start, our blog post on briefing a video production company walks through exactly what to include. Alternatively, just get in touch and we'll walk you through it — most clients find that a short conversation is the fastest way to get to a good brief.
Can you help with scripting and creative direction?
Yes — scripting and creative direction are core parts of what we do, not add-ons. We work with you to develop the script and the overall creative approach for your video. Some clients come to us with detailed briefs and a clear idea of what they want; others come with a goal and leave the creative development to us. Either way works. We'll always share scripts and concepts for your review and approval before any filming takes place.
What makes Videobase different from other video production companies in Dublin?
A few things. We work exclusively in corporate, commercial, and organisational video — it's all we do, which means we understand the standards and requirements of business clients. We've worked with some of Ireland's most recognised organisations, including PwC, AIB, and the Irish Farmers' Association. We handle everything in-house — brief, scripting, filming, editing, delivery — which means one team, one point of contact, and a consistent standard from start to finish. And we treat every project as a proper collaboration: we ask the right questions, challenge assumptions where needed, and produce video that's built to perform, not just to look good.
Can you record and produce webinars and hybrid events?
Yes. We handle the full recording and post-production process for webinars, online panels, and hybrid events. This includes pre-event technical setup, dedicated high-quality recording capture, audio post-production, editing, and delivery in the formats you need — whether that's a full session recording, highlight clips, or shorter segments for social. If your organisation runs regular webinars or online events, we can discuss an ongoing arrangement that makes the process as smooth as possible.
How do I get a quote for corporate video production?
The quickest way is to get in touch via our contact form or by phone. Tell us what you're trying to achieve, a rough sense of the scope, and any key dates or constraints. We'll come back to you quickly — usually within one business day — either with a quote or a request for a short call to clarify the brief. If you have a document, deck, or brief already prepared, feel free to attach it. The more context we have, the more accurate the quote.
